The Creative Masters line of finely detailed die cast cars has inspired collectors the world over. It all started in the late 1980’s with a bright red 427 Shelby Cobra roadster in 1/20 scale. Today Revell introduces 2 new additions to the unique Creative Masters line of die cast cars.

Over it’s history, each addition to the Creative Masters line represented the best in quality and engineering. Since the Revell brand is known for accuracy and detail, the Creative Masters model represented the best model there was available. These latest 2 models uphold this great tradition.

The variety of the Creative Masters line, while not extensive, has represented the best in automotive excellence. The Creative Masters line started with a car whose performance could only be described in one word, awesome! This fabulous model of the 427 Shelby Cobra was initially only available in Rangoon Red, but it was later offered in both black and a special signature edition of Brushed Aluminum. The second Creative Masters model offered Chevy enthusiasts their performance leader, the 1967 427 Corvette Sting Ray roadster. This was followed by the Dodge Viper roadster finished in it’s distinctive gloss red paint finish.

In later years the Creative Masters line added cars that defined Ford as a leader in performance, the Ford GT-40 and the Shelby Mustang. Each of these models was offered in a couple of versions. The Ford GT-40 model represented the LeMans winner car driven to victory in 2 consecutive years of 1968 and 1969. With its Gulf blue and orange paint scheme, it is the most famous Ford GT-40 ever raced. The Shelby Mustang GT 350 was produced as both the 1965 white fastback and 1966 black Hertz version.

This brings us to the last of the Creative Masters line, the 1968 Z-28 Camaro coupe. It was produced in 2 colors, LeMans Blue and Hugger Orange, which has proved popular with collectors.

It has been over 5 years since the last Creative Masters model was offered to the collector. Revell is proud to announce an exciting new addition to this unique line of hand crafted models. It is the 1969 Camaro Yenko/SC 427 Coupe.

This new Creative Masters model represents one of the most sought after muscle cars of the 1960s. It was developed by famous car tuner Don Yenko and sold through his selected dealerships around the country. With the support of Chevrolet, Don Yenko was able to order specially equipped Camaros that finished into the Yenko/SC.

The Creative Masters ’69 Camaro Yenko/SC faithfully replicates this classic car in 1/20 scale with all of the detail for which this line is known. It starts with the big 427 Chevy Big Block complete with cowl induction hood. All the unique Yenko/SC graphics come in a choice of 2 selected colors of Rallye Green or Daytona Yellow. Each model color will be limited to 1,300 pieces of production.

These new models will only be available for purchase on the Revell website starting in November. The price of $129.95 includes the Creative Masters ’69 Camaro Yenko/SC, a full color Yenko plaque and the Certificate of Authenticity.
