The newest addition to our popular line of metal and plastic 1:6 scale engine kits, the Chevy ® Big Block 427 V-8.  This engine found its way into many Chevy models during the 1960's and was one of the most  feared  motors on the street. With three two-barrel carbs, it cranked out 435 horsepower. This new  Revell kit is painted in a correct shade of Chevy Engine Orange with silver on the cylinder heads to simulate the rare L89 aluminum heads.  Highly detailed as you would expect including  chrome plated plastic valve covers and air cleaner, fuel and vacuum lines, ignition wiring and rubber  fan belts.  This is an engine that many of you have asked for and it will look great on your shelf alongside your other engine kits. Look for it starting in August '06.
